Thanks for responding to our call to help Tom support Republicans candidates around the country this November.  The response has been overwhelming and we are truly honored that you assisted with electing proven conservative to the U.S. House of Representatives.
 
We wanted to invite you to participate in two very upcoming events that will help elect Republicans in Georgia's 2nd and 8th Congressional District.
 
Austin Scott Grassroots Weekend
First, this Saturday Republicans from the 9th District will travel to the 8th District and help State Rep. Austin Scott.  Austin is running for Congress against Democrat incumbent Jim Marshall.
 
We hope you will join Tom Austin and other fellow Republicans as we travel by chartered bus from Pickens County to Macon on October 15-16 to campaign for Austin.  This is your chance to really make a difference!
 
Once in Macon, we will spend the day on Saturday, October 16 (9:30am - 5:00pm) knocking on doors and getting out the vote for Austin and for America. We will then depart on our return trip to Pickens County around 5:00pm.
 
Expenses for volunteers will be paid by the Scott Campaign and all you need to bring is an overnight bag and your willingness to dedicate a little time to your country and her core conservative values.

Speaker Newt Gingrich Joint Event
Then on Monday, October 18th, fellow Georgian and former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives will be in Atlanta for a joint fundraising event to help Austin and Mike Keown, who is challenging Sanford Bishop in the 2nd District.  The proceeds for this event will be split evenly between Austin and Mike.  Please click here to view the invite and the information regarding the event.  If you are interested in participating, please Diana Kincaid at (770) 435-5586 or by emailing her [email protected].
