Join GA-9 Freedom Fighters at 4th Annual Corn Roast

I hope you will be able to join Julie, the kids and I at the 4th Annual Corn Roast, which will be held Saturday, August 29th at Sandy Bottom Farm in Tate, Georgia. The Corn Roast is our big annual event and it is open to all friends, families and supporters and is an opportunity for those in the community to get together for good food and fellowship. Supporters in my House District look forward each year to the Corn Roast and I am pleased now that my many new friends and supporters from across the 9th District will be joining us.

This year's theme will be Fighting for Our Freedom and you will hear from State Senator Chip Pearson and State Representatives Stephen Allison, Jay Neal and Martin Scott. I am thankful that the local 4-H Club members will again help roast the corn, and we'll also be serving bar-be-que and enjoying music performed by the BC Boys.

The corn roast begins at 11:00 a.m. and ends at 2:00 p.m. The cost to attend the event is $25 per family or $10 per person. Please contact Anne Marie Sutherland in my office at (770) 519-4019 or email her at [email protected] for information about attending the event.
