Opens Northwest Georgia Campaign Headquarters in Dalton
(RANGER, GA) – Republicans in the 9th District overwhelmingly chose conservative Tom Graves (R-Ranger) as their choice for Congress in the latest straw poll held Saturday in Gordon County.
Graves topped all other candidates in the crowded field of Special Election hopefuls, gaining 182 votes (53 percent) of the straw-poll votes demonstrating that Republicans are joining his team for his bold, conservative voice.
“We are really pleased with the direction and advancements the campaign has achieved,” said Graves. “Winning Saturday’s district straw-poll was absolutely incredible and a reflection of the momentum we are gaining as a result of hard working volunteers who support our campaign."

After the picnic, the Graves campaign opened the doors to its Dalton campaign headquarters to help better serve the counties of Northwest Georgia.
This is the second campaign office for the Graves campaign.
The Dalton based headquarters is located at 415 E. Walnut Avenue. For more information or volunteer efforts, supporters are encouraged to contact Chuck Payne at 706-271-8212.
With the May 11th special election only 22 days away, Saturday was a successful and rewarding day for the Graves campaign.
Graves has been endorsed by FreedomWorks, RedState’s Erick Erickson, Club for Growth PAC, the nation’s premier free-market, free enterprise group of conservatives, the Atlanta Tea Party and was the first candidate to be certified 100 percent pro-life by the Georgia Right to Life PAC.
Graves represented the 12th House District from 2003 until March 23, 2010. Graves announced last May that he would seek the 9th District Congressional seat that was vacated by Congressman Nathan Deal, who is running for Governor.
