Family Research Council Action PAC Endorses Congressman Tom Graves
(RANGER, GA) - The Family Research Council Action PAC last week endorsed U.S Rep. Tom Graves for Congress in Georgia's 9th Congressional District.
FRC Action PAC is the legislative advocacy arm of the Family Research Council, a group which champions marriage and family as the foundation of civilization, the seedbed of virtue, and the wellspring of society. FRC Action PAC and its members support pro-family candidates and pro-family issues in elections and ballot initiatives around the country.
"Tom Graves will be an important voice for the family in Washington," said Connie Mackey, President of FRC Action PAC. "I am confident in the commitment and ability of Mr. Graves to stand firm on issues important to families. As a member of the Georgia General Assembly for seven years, Tom Graves has already proven himself to be committed to the fight for traditional family values. He co-authored the Human Life Amendment and supported Georgia's Constitutional Amendment to define marriage as between one man and one woman. His experience serving in the Georgia House will be crucial to the work which needs to be done in Congress."
“I’m pleased to receive the Family Research Council’s Action PAC endorsement,” said Rep. Graves. “Our traditional family values often come under attack in Washington and we need a grounded, proven conservative to protect these values. As a husband and father, a candidate and now a Congressman, I look forward to working with The Family Research Council to defend our values.”
"FRC Action PAC believes that Tom Graves will be an advocate for the issues that best uphold and strengthen families. We are grateful for the opportunity to support his candidacy," concluded Connie Mackey.
Since his election to Congress last month, the Graves re-election campaign has been on a roll.
Rep. Graves has won all straw polls held since his June 8th election by wide margins and has been endorsed by the National Rifle Association, Georgia Right to Life and Concerned Women of America.
FreedomWorks, RedState’s Erick Erickson, the Club for Growth PAC, Jim Gilchrist’s Minuteman Project, Congressman Lynn Westmoreland, Republican Whip Eric Cantor, House Republican Conference Chairman Mike Pence, Congressman Patrick McHenry and the House Conservative Fund, Congressman Paul Ryan and former 9th District candidates Bert Loftman and Eugene Moon have also endorsed Graves.
Last week Rep. Graves reported $197,457 raised in just 40 short days, which was more than all his challengers combined.
