Congressman Graves Overwhelming Favorite in Latest Straw Poll
(BUFORD, GA) – Just a little over a week before voters return to the polls for the July 20th Republican Primary, U.S. Rep. Tom Graves’ (R-GA) re-election campaign is in high gear, dominating the latest straw poll held Saturday at the North Georgia 9-12 Rapid Fire Bar-B-Que.
Rep. Graves, who was sworn-in last month, was the overwhelming favorite receiving 120 votes while all those challenging him in the July 20th Primary Election received a combined total of 87 votes. He has finished first in every straw poll held in the 9th District race.
“For over a year now, our campaign has been focused on issues and advocated conservative solutions to get this country back on track,” said Rep. Graves. “Today’s results prove that voters in North Georgia are responding to our message and are happy with the leadership we are providing in Washington.”
