I’m proud to support Brian Kemp

I’m proud to support my friend Brian Kemp for governor! He will fight for our conservative values and build on the successes of Governor Deal.

As a small business owner, former state senator and secretary of state, Brian knows how to fight and win in Atlanta. He will work tirelessly to ensure the entire state – including rural Georgia – feels the results of the booming economy.

Brian will invest in workforce development, cut unnecessary regulations, and slash red tape so our businesses and workers can continue to thrive.

He will stop the gangs promoting violence in our schools, selling drugs on our streets and poisoning our communities. He will establish a street gang database within the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, empower the attorney general’s office and ensure local law enforcement gets the resources they need.

Additionally, he will cap state spending, expand access to high speed internet and reform the state’s tax code. He will put Georgia first.

I hope you will vote for my friend Brian Kemp on November 6 because we need a conservative fighter in Atlanta.

Perfect record

BIG NEWS: National Right to Life – one of the nation’s leading pro-life organizations – endorsed our campaign!

Here’s what they had to say:

“National Right to Life is pleased to endorse you for reelection to the U.S. House of Representatives. We strongly commend you for your perfect 100 percent pro-life voting record in the 115th Congress.”

The mission to protect innocent life – born and unborn – is at the core of my public service. I’m honored to receive the support of National Right to Life in this campaign.

Click HERE or see below to read the full endorsement letter.

August 1, 2018

The Honorable Tom Graves
Post Office Box 335
Calhoun, GA 30703

Dear Representative Graves:

National Right to Life is pleased to endorse you for reelection to the U.S. House of Representatives.

We strongly commend you for your perfect 100 percent pro-life voting record in the 115th Congress.

During the current 115th Congress, you voted for the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, legislation to protect unborn children who can feel pain at 20 weeks, a point by which the unborn child is capable of experiencing great pain when being killed by dismemberment or other late abortion methods.

You voted for the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act, a bill that would establish a permanent, government-wide policy against funding abortions or health plans that cover abortions.

You voted to block federal funding of the nation’s largest abortion provider. And you voted to repeal the Obama healthcare law – a law that created a national program of massive federal subsidies for insurance plans that cover abortion.

Voters who are concerned with the right to life and with the protection of the most vulnerable members of the human family should vote to return you to Congress, so that you can continue to work to advance vital pro-life public policies.

Sincerely,

David N. O’Steen, Ph.D.
Executive Director

Jennifer Popik, J.D.

The Fund for America’s Kids and Grandkids

The national debt is $21 trillion…and counting. If we don’t take serious action soon, crippling debt is the legacy we’ll pass down to our kids and grandkids – a debt so enormous it compromises jobs, economic growth and national security.

The time for action is now.

That’s why I introduced legislation this spring to create the Fund for America’s Kids and Grandkids, which functions like a savings account for future generations. I shaved 2.5 percent off my Financial Services and General Government Appropriations bill to make an initial deposit of $585 million. The money in the Fund cannot be touched until the U.S. Treasury Secretary certifies the deficit is zero or there is a surplus.

While $585 million may feel like a drop in the bucket, I believe the Fund for America’s Kids and Grandkids is not only an example, but a model we can build on. It’s a concept that causes us to think about what all of this deficit spending means and who gets left picking up the tab. I believe it sets a new tone for funding the government: just because you can spend it, doesn’t mean you should.

So far, other members of Congress agree, as my bill was passed by the House Appropriations Committee this month. The next step is for the full House to consider the bill. I’ll keep you updated on the progress.

If you’re interested in learning more about the Fund for America’s Kids and Grandkids, please read my op-ed in Fox News HERE.

The Fund was also featured in The Wall Street Journalby conservative columnist Kim Strassel. Click HERE to read it.

Starting today!

Early voting started today!

If you’re unable to travel to the polls on May 22 to vote in the primary election, please remember to make a plan to vote early and support our Republican candidates.

Democrats are determined to hike taxes, protect sanctuary cities and grow government at every level. That’s why we need a BIG turnout in the primary election, which ensures we put our best foot forward going into the November elections.

Not every polling place is open for early voting, so make sure you click HERE to find your location. And please remind your family and friends to plan their trip to the polls as well.

Thank you for your dedication and support.

Georgia families are seeing results

Since President Trump signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act on December 22, 2017 – the first time tax reform was signed into law in more than three decades – Georgia families are starting to see more money in their paychecks.

Additionally, hundreds of companies across the country are handing out bonuses and new benefits as a result of tax reform, including Georgia companies like Aflac, UPS and The Home Depot.

The evidence is clear: tax reform is working and Georgia families are seeing results.

But Democrats are insulting middle-class families, belittling these tax cuts and bonuses as “crumbs.” They want to repeal the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and keep more of your hard-earned money.

In fact, Democrats are so mad about you keeping more of your paycheck that they’re planning to run a liberal against me here in Northwest Georgia. A political group from California is working to recruit and fund Democrats to hand over our district to Nancy Pelosi.

Democrats will stop at nothing to take more of your paycheck.

Please help me fight back by contributing $10, $25, $50, $100 or any other amount, so we can protect and build on the progress we made this year.

Click HERE to chip in now! Every dollar counts.

Thank you in advance for your support and assistance.

Your Paycheck

Last week, the House passed, with my support, President Trump’s tax cut and jobs plan! That means bigger paychecks and more jobs for hard-working Georgia families!

NRCC_CCD_TaxReform_13
Among the bill’s highlights are an increased standard deduction, bigger child tax credit and lower tax rates. But the good news doesn’t stop there.

The bill also slashes the corporate and small business tax rates, meaning American companies can create more good-paying jobs.

Click HERE to read more about the bill and what it means for your family.

Now, it’s time for the Senate to pass a bill so we can get the final product on President Trump’s desk as soon as possible.

Cyber Security Awareness Month

October is Cyber Security Awareness Month, and I introduced a bill to empower the American people and American companies to defend themselves online. My bill will give people new tools to protect their networks against cyber criminals and unleash the private sector to develop a new generation of defenses.

President Trump’s Tax Reform Plan

President Trump’s tax reform framework turns the page on our complicated and broken tax system. It’s simpler, flatter and fairer than the current tax code. It will put more money in the pockets of hard-working Americans. It also promotes economic growth and private-sector job creation by slashing the corporate tax rate – currently the highest in the developed world – and ensuring fair treatment for small businesses. Congress needs to get the final product to the president’s desk as quickly as possible.

San Francisco Political Group Trying To Turn Northwest GA Blue

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that a San Francisco-based political group – run by a British political operative and a Stanford professor – has purchased ads in Georgia.

Their goal? Recruit Democrats to run in the general election against me and put our Republican district in Nancy Pelosi’s hands.

You heard that right: a California political group is invading Northwest Georgia in order to support Democrats.

Click HERE to chip in $25, $50, $100 or any other amount to help me fight back.

Outside groups will do anything to stop the progress we’re making with President Trump. Please consider chipping in now so we can continue enacting policies that reflect our conservative values like unleashing private-sector job creation, slashing unnecessary rules and regulations, protecting life, and cutting taxes for families and businesses.

Thank you in advance for your support.
